On behalf of The Portage County Safety Council, PCHRA invites you to join PCSC's March Meeting titled:

    "Behaviroal Threat Assessments"

ABOUT THE EVENT:  This is part of our PCHRA 2023 Health and Safety Learning Series. We are partnering with the Portage County Safety Council to provide business owners, HR and Health & Safety professionals an understanding of the 2023 OSHA regulations and  procedures.  This month the focus is on generations in the workplace.

This training looks closely at risk and protective factors to determine the likelihood an individual will commit an act of violence and identify ways to decrease the likelihood of violence. Many individuals who are planning to engage in targeted violence display threatening or concerning behaviors that are observable to others. Utilizing a proactive, evidence-based method of investigation, analysis, and management that focuses on an individual’s patterns of thinking and behavior, can determine whether, and to what extent, an individual may be moving towards an act of intended violence, self-directed or towards others.

For this event, participants can learn and earn 1 SHRM PDC.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Jordan Garza, Regional Prevention Coordinator, U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security – Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships

ABOUT THE PCSC: The Portage County Safety Council is a non-profit program of Family & Community Services, Inc. We are funded in part by the Ohio BWC to promote workplace safety & health information
