    ABOUT THE EVENT:  This is part of our PCHRA 2024 Workforce Development Learning Series. We are partnering with the ConxusNEO to provide business owners and HR  professionals information and support on programs and funding opportunities available in the manufacturing, healthcare and technology sectors.  

    For this event, participants can learn and earn 1 SHRM PDC.

    ABOUT THE PRESENTATION: This month we welcome Jessica Borza and Chelsea Mills to discuss career coaching that can hlep you boltser your talent pool and increase retention.

    ABOUT THE SPEAKERS: Jessica Borza serves as the Executive Director of the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition, a leading industry sector partnership, since its inception in 2011. Jessica led MVMC in its effort to convene, educate and mobilize the region's key stakeholders around a common set of priorities in order to recruit, prepare, and retain a workforce qualified for the specific needs of the manufacturing industry.  She also is the Senior Workforce Advisor to the Ohio Manufacturers Association where she leads the statewide Industry Sector Partnership Network in its implementation of the Good Jobs Challenge project. 

    Chelsea Mills is the owner of The Chelsea Mills Group, offering workforce development services to organizations committed to building a more equitable economy.  Chelsea has 20+ years of experience at Towards Employment where she focused on the development and implementation of sector specific, career-pathway programs designed to meet business needs by providing low-income under- and unemployed individuals with the training, career coaching and wrap around supports they need to enter and advance in manufacturing and healthcare. Chelsea has led two rigorously evaluated demonstration projects, Achieve and WorkAdvance. This experience centers around program implementation and management, but also includes concept development, planning and monitoring of large budgets, data analysis and reporting, and significant amounts of staff development.
